When I was reading about the cuisine of the Ugandan people, I came upon an interesting fact: Ugandans believe raw food (like salad) is bad for you. I’m a vegetarian and for a large part of the year I eat raw vegetables and fruit. So based on my research, I’m going to have to get creative with my intake. I love salads and greens but I m going to need to adapt and eat cooked stuff. I read that even rice is a luxury. I wonder how much rice I can get in my luggage?
I guess I’m not bringing my juicer…
