The Puzzle Becomes A Book

club champ puzzle

If you look at the pieces

a jumble of shapes

when a picture

desires a form to make

you take an edge

I’ll work with the green

as we work together

a scene it will be

this book of poems

is much like that

words a jumble

and that’s a fact

as I fit each verse

an elegant song

of meaningful words

will come along

so many of you

a gift you gave

to far away children

“many thanks” send your way

Just a poem to tell each of you that the book is coming along so beautifully. I feel that I know each of you better as I read your hearts in the poems. The poetry with the photography is going to make a lovely Song.

Wishing each of you a Great week.

So much Gratitude for each one of you!!!

  1. Very beautiful Leslie! When you asked me to submit my poetry, I was wondering if you wanted previously written work, or new poems written for the children and cause or both? I know we only submit up to three. I would love some inspiration on this from you. Thanks Leslie! Blessings, Deborah

  2. Stumbled across your blog, and it looks like you’re having a great time. I really enjoyed your poetry. Anyways, I’m a Peace Corps Volunteer and am looking for people to help me out with a project for my English class in Mozambique. There’s more info on the Postcard Project tab on my blog. Let me know if you’d be able to help out. Haven’t gotten anything from Liberia yet
