Just a little Nursery Rhyme… #postaday #poetry #ebola

Ring Around the Rosey

A Pocket full of Posey

Ashes, Ashes

we all fall

DOWN

Ring around the rosey

a pocket full of posey

A tishoo

A tishoo

we all fall

Down

What will the poem or lyrics be depicting this pandemic virus that kills more people than the Black Plague of the 1300s???

Raise you scythe

clear them out

it’s Ebola

there’s no doubt

children elders

all at risk

in the end

death takes its pick

Raise your scythe

clear them out

clear the bodies

move aside

death waits for another day

no one’s safe

come out

to Play

The prompt at the postaday challenge at WordPress is “By Heart”

You’re asked to recite a poem (or song lyrics) from memory — what’s the first one that comes to mind? Does it have a special meaning, or is there another reason it has stayed, intact, in your mind?
